Cathy is an iconic collection of photographs of Kate Bush as a young girl, taken by her brother the photographer and writer John Carder Bush.
First published in 1986 as a limited run, it has become a much sought after book by collectors and fans alike.
An unusual feature of the production are the die-cut pages which appear throughout the book acting as windows to frame the images allowing the reader to actually explore the book. Printed on 170 gsm Tatami Cream from Fedrigoni the flat sheets were all die-cut before the folding operation took place.
The book is bound using a very tactile Manifatturra del Seveson Italian Cialinen cloth. There is a standard edition housed in a slipcase covered with Cialinen as well as a special edition in a clamshell box covered with Canapetta cloth, lined in velvet and sealed with a concealed magnetic strip.
The high quality design and production values make this a stunning and very collectable book.
